One of our most important tasks at Freedom Fabrication is assisting the design and engineering process. Since every orthosis is custom made to the individual patient's needs, we work closely with the practitioner to establish design criteria. Taking into consideration the patients height, weight, activity level, bio-mechanical and cosmetic needs, we can ensure the use of the correct designs and materials for each product. Only through this level of communication can we maximize our role as technical liaison.
Our years of technical experience are not reserved for our own production. We constantly strive for the dissemination of technical information by whatever means available. If you have questions about material selection, component options, or production techniques please feel free to contact us by E-mail, or by calling our toll free number 800.304.FREE. We will do our best to assist you in finding an answer.
If you are a certified practitioner, or a registered technician and a member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists and would like to join the fabrication sciences society please contact us for a registration form. This society is being formed as a forum for the development of production research and technical education. This information will be critical for the development of future technologies.
