The Tib-Transformer is a low cost easy to fit solution for the correction of tibial torsion deformities. It's light weight open design makes this orthosis comfortable to wear without sacrificing function. It works by flexing the knee to a ninety-degree angle. This feature allows us to isolate the torsional force directly at the proximal tibia. Previous efforts that attached to the shoes using torsion cables, or bars that connected both feet, concentrated their force at the hip, far away from the source of the problem!
